The air conditioning (AC) system is the primary building end-use contributor to peak demand for energy. energy consumed by this has grown as fast it in last few decades, not only residential section but also industry and transport sectors. Therefore, combat crises, urgent actions on efficiency should be taken support security. Consequently, faults AC components increase consumption due degradation of system’s performance losses conversion procedure. In work, fault detection diagnosis (FDD) methods are investigated propose analytic tools identify provide solutions those problems. analysis existing work shows that data-driven approaches more accurate both soft hard systems. proposed simultaneous detection, while some works, authors tested method with several separately without investigating scenarios combine than one fault. Moreover, study integrating requires deploying an optimal sensing measurement architecture can detect a maximum number minimally deployed sensors. new sensing, information, communication technologies discussed their integration monitoring order optimize operation faults.
